Annual Summer Seminar 2025

With great joy and gratitude we welcome our profoundly kind and wise teacher, Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche, back to Rangjung Yeshe Gomde California from July 18th – 24th 2025.

Check-in will begin on July 18th at 3:00 pm, followed by dinner and a welcome orientation. Rinpoche will enter the Buddha Hall the morning of July 19th and the program will continue through the morning of July 24th. The Ocean of Amrita puja will take place all day on July 20th. 

The Ocean of Amrita Puja (Ngakso Puja)

Rinpoche will preside over the Ocean of Amrita puja for the repairing of broken commitments on Sunday, July 20th.

Empowerments

We will request Rinpoche to bestow several empowerments during the program pertaining to Shedrub Mandala’s primary practices. Empowerment dates are pending.

Accommodation

For those attending the Full Program, the following accommodation options are available:

• Deluxe Tent Cabins (with option to book for two people)
• Single Basic Tent with Bed
• Camping
• Off-site accommodations

• Benbow Historic Inn (about 25 minutes from Gomde, quite comfortable)

Work-Exchange and Scholarships

Running and developing a retreat center of Gomde California’s size (approximately 275 acres) requires a great deal of work and generous financial support. Despite the center’s significant operating costs, Gomde is committed to creating opportunities for everyone to connect with and study the authentic Dharma. To support this aim, we offer several Work-Exchange and Scholarship opportunities for sangha members who wish to attend teachings at a significantly discounted rate.
