Instructions on Fivefold Mahamudra

The Instructions on the Fivefold Mahamudra composed by the Omniscient Chökyi Jungné is a deeply significant teaching for Mahamudra practitioners. It offers a direct and immediate framework for practicing the Kagyu tradition’s highest form of meditation in both formal practice sessions and post-meditation. Gather in the serene ambiance of Gomde California’s Buddha Hall to hear teachings and engage in practices that have the power to liberate negative emotions.

Community Meditation Sessions: Deepen your meditation practice alongside fellow Dharma practitioners in communal sessions led by Tsangsar Rinpoche and Gomde’s resident practitioners.

Wholesome Vegetarian Meals: Savor three delectable vegetarian meals each day, thoughtfully prepared with locally sourced, fresh ingredients to nourish both body and mind.

Immersive Nature Retreat: Immerse yourself in the tranquility of Gomde California amidst the natural beauty of Mendocino County. Enjoy rejuvenating swims and connect with nature in the serene forest retreat.

Integration Day: Sunday is dedicated to integrating the teachings received during the retreat. Engage in guided meditations, contemplative walks, and group discussions to internalize the wisdom of the Instructions on the Fivefold Mahamudra.

Program Details

Duration: Four nights, from Wednesday (July 3) to Sunday (July 7).

Location: Gomde California, nestled amidst the scenic coastal mountains of Mendocino County.

Accommodation: Choose from a variety of on-site lodging options or explore off-site accommodations in local hotels or Airbnbs.

Facilities: Access to the Buddha Halls, communal spaces, shower facilities, and outdoor recreational areas.

Prerequisites: Open to practitioners of all levels, from beginners to seasoned practitioners.
