Kurukulla Practice Retreat with Lama Tsultrim Sangpo
Gomde California | Summer 2025

We are delighted to welcome Lama Tsultrim Sangpo back to Gomde California this summer for Part II of our Dharma Gyan Summer Program. As the capstone retreat of this year’s Dharma Gyan Immersive, Lama-la will offer in-depth teachings and guidance on the practice of Kurukulla, according to the Seven Profound Cycles of our Chokling Tersar tradition.

Retreat Dates: August 1st–August 9th, 2025

Kurukulla is a magnetizing dakini—an expression of enlightened wisdom and the dynamic power of compassion. In this profound Vajrayana practice, the practitioner connects with Kurukulla’s enlightened qualities and mind to attract all that is beneficial for the Dharma path, including supportive circumstances, inner realization, and auspicious connections with others.

In the summer of 2023, Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche bestowed the Kurukulla empowerment at Gomde California, planting the seed of this sacred practice in our sangha. Now, under Lama Tsultrim Sangpo’s expert guidance, we will engage in a nine-day group practice retreat to deepen our understanding and direct experience.

The specific teachings on this practice will be offered during the first section of Part 2 of the Dharma Gyan Immersive. If you wish to receive teachings on this sadhana, we encourage you to attend these teachings online during the first part of July, or join us for Part 2 of the Dharma Gyan Summer Immersive. Registration for online attendance of these teachings will be launched in early June.

Whether you are new to development stage practice or seeking to strengthen your experience, this retreat offers a rare opportunity to engage in a complete practice cycle within a supportive community and under the care of a deeply experienced Vajrayana teacher.

We warmly invite all practitioners who have received the Kurukulla empowerment to join us for this precious and transformative retreat.
